About StonePoint CFO

Precision in the Shop. Precision in the Books.

In the world of stone fabrication, a fraction of an inch is the difference between a perfect install and a wasted slab. At StonePoint CFO, we believe your financial reporting should be held to that same standard.

Most CFO firms are generalists; they don’t understand the nuances of yield, remnant tracking, or the complex “material vs. fabrication vs. install” sales tax nexus. We built this firm specifically for the granite, quartz, and marble fabricators who are tired of “winging it” on job margins and getting blindsided by tax bills.

Our Story

StonePoint CFO was born from a simple observation: stone shop owners are incredibly hardworking operators who are often flying blind. You know how to cut and polish, but you might not trust your labor utilization or your WIP (Work in Process) numbers.

To bridge this gap, we combined deep niche expertise with the high-level strategy of a traditional CPA firm. StonePoint CFO is a specialized division of Shaver & Associates CPA LLC, designed to move beyond basic bookkeeping and into the role of a true financial partner for the stone industry.

Margin Visibility: Know exactly which jobs are making money and where your “leaks” are occurring.

Cleaner Cash Flow: Stabilize your bank account through better AP workflows and 13-month forecasting.

Zero Surprises: Proactive tax planning so you can invest in that next CNC machine with confidence.

Our Leadership

StonePoint CFO is led by Donald T. Shaver. A former US Marine and Army Soldier, and CPA. He has years of experience working in a stone shop, and more working in manufacturing and public accounting. After nearly a decade in public and private accounting he saw the need to help stone shops realize more value in what they’re doing. By combining the horsepower of a full-service tax firm with a niche-focused “financial operator” mindset, we provide stone shops with a level of insight typically reserved for much larger manufacturing corporations.

Whether you are looking to grow, get a grasp on your real financial numbers, or manage a multiple location operation; a Fractional CFO can help move you in the right direction.
